CM Beauty Insider #2: What’s in our cabin?

Curious about what products are in a salon’s cabin? Here at Chez Moi, we mainly use Phyris and Skin Origin products for our in-house treatments. Let’s check out some products our therapists love using in their treatments:

NICO

What’s your go-to product in the cabin?

Skin Origin Cleansing Milk

My go-to product in the cabin would be the Skin Origin Cleansing Milk and Repair Mask. I love Skin Origin products as they’re great for all skin types. The Cleansing Milk doesn’t just cleanse well, it also provides a soothing effect with bamboo water and doesn’t feel drying for those with drier skin. With ceramides, there is also barrier repair and it’s great for gentle but thorough cleansing. It even works well with those who have sensitive skin. I have eczema, and I find that it works great to stop itching and helps me heal from an outbreak faster.

How do you use it?

Tip: For those with eczema, applying the Skin Origin’s home care repair mask for 10 minutes before washing it off can help to reduce the itchiness and speed up healing.

What’s your go-to product in the cabin?

I love using the Phyris Milky Cleanser. I have quite a few clients who have dry skin, and this product works well for them as it doesn’t result in tightness or sensitivity. Another product I love would be the Skin Origin Repair Mask.

How do you use it?

I use it after massage — first, there is the benefit of helping to cool down the skin and any redness. I apply some Phyris Sensisomi Balm to reduce redness and irritation followed by the Repair Mask (as it is in gel form). Finally, I will put on a layer of soft mask for my clients. This creates a “double mask” application – more effective!

TRACY

What’s your go-to product in the cabin?

I like using the Phyris Hyaluron Sensation Cream. This is because this product is well-tolerated by all skin types and it provides great hydration. I also like the Skin Origin Gentle Cleanser for oilier skin, as it works well to control and reduce oil after cleansing without being too harsh. For those with serious pimples, I apply the Skin Origin Epi Gel for hydration so that doesn’t clog pores.

How do you use it?

I use the Hyaluron Sensation Cream when I’m massaging their face, after which I apply a mask on my clients.
